Is this possibly Mycetobiidae? Or Mycetophilidae? Size is approx. 3 mm, photo from outside my apartment 28.04.2011.
The red "thing" under the fly is a mite (Acari)??

Looks like Sciaridae, but I don't see the small tibial spurs I expect.

Think you are right, just tried to key it to family and somehow Sciaridae was filtered out...(apparently they are "stilt-legged" according to my program INTKEY, did type "not stilt-legged" myself).
The spurs does show on number 3 I think, have zoomed in on that photo:
