I think it is indeed a Tachinid. Taken on the 23rd April 2011, near Madrid. Thanks in advance for any help provided!

Looks quite like Aplomya confinis to me but in your region there might be alternatives :)

Thanks a lot, Chris!! At least the genus looks for sure and that is more than I expected! I understand that my country's diptera are very poorly estudied. One more reason why I appreciate so much the effort you all take to ID my flies :)
