Hello,

This small Sarcophagidae was flying on nests of I think Andrena vaga (Apidae). Is it possible to give it an ID? Thanks in advance.

If it was investigating ground-nesting Hymenoptera it should be ringing alarm bells in your head - Miltogramminae, Sarcophagidae ;)

Thanks Chris, hopefully next time the alarmbells will ring.:)
I suppose it is an Ascophagidae? Anyone who knows which species it is?

? Ascophagidae ? Typo ?

Anyway, it is indeed a Miltogramminae, looks definitely like a female Metopia.
