Thread subject: Diptera.info :: 3mm fly spotted wings> Empididae Dolichocephala irrorata

Hello!

From 13th July 2010, it was on my door, near Lincoln UK.

The shape reminds me of Micropezidae, but I'm really at a loss as to which family it belongs. The antennae could fit Dolichopodidae!

I got two pics only, one which has the wings more focused.

It would be much more easy with a lateral view!
Anyway: Dolichocephala irrorata, Empididae

I had just found it could be Empididae! I was looking for another fly. ;)
