Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Drosophilidae dark wing edges> Drosophila tristis

Hello!

Is this a Drosophila sp.? It had dark wing edges, this was a dominant fly, probably a male which kept others off it's tree stump (an Acacia dealbata cut down after being frozen!). Size ~3mm. My garden near Lincoln UK.

Thanks Paul, Drosophila tristis is not in the gallery. Would this be OK as Drosophila cf. tristis?
