Hello all:
I hope I am doing this right. I just joined your group today. I collected some Corethrella in Middleboro Massachusetts from a light trap baited with CO2 in early August 2010. The trap was in a cedar swamp. Mostly I wanted to share the pictures as I don't see any on your site. I know they have recently been broken out of Chaoboridae and put into their own family Corethrellidae. Does anyone know the species? - Fishercat

Dr. Art Borkent is the authority on the family. His work
The Frog-Biting Midges of the World (Corethrellidae: Diptera), Zootaxa 1804, contains a key to all known species.
