As a response to an earlier thread. Yes, it flies already. Completely black T5, strong crossed apical scutellars etc. This is a better species for me as it does not occur back home in Finland. I had only one female previously from May 2006, Near Paris, France.

From the same location yesterday (April 2nd) also a Kirbya moerens-male.

Another pond was full of these guys. And all this only 4km biking distance from home! Quite luxurious...
