Last of my Bibionids, again very small. About the size of B. gineri. Thanks for any help.

From what I can see, I don't see any argument against gineri.

Supposedly a rare species......

But if B. gineri is a rare species I doubt any of those can be that species. They were everywhere in the areas where I found them.

Should be something very similar but very common.

The trouble is that I don't even know which species are found in my country. Very frustrating.

gineri is rare in the collections.

That is become its period of flight does not match holidays of entomologists.

So you should not be too worried.
