Hello!
These midge looks different from the usual
Trichocera with its shiny black body and yellowish legs. It was also rather small (5 mm). Could it be
T. saltator? From a beech trunk in forest (northwest Germany).

Arghh... Thanks, Paul. I first saved this as Mycetophilidae, but then changed it, because I could not clearly see spines at the legs and thought, I saw the short A2. :|
