Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Which Nematocera? (15.03.11) --> Mycetophilidae

Hello!

These midge looks different from the usual Trichocera with its shiny black body and yellowish legs. It was also rather small (5 mm). Could it be T. saltator? From a beech trunk in forest (northwest Germany).

Arghh... Thanks, Paul. I first saved this as Mycetophilidae, but then changed it, because I could not clearly see spines at the legs and thought, I saw the short A2. :|
