Hello!

This small (4 mm) fly remains a mystery to me. Muscidae? Anthomyiidae? Found at tree trunk in nightly garden (northwest Germany).

Hi, Stephen and Stephane!

Thanks a lot! Fannia came into my mind, too. But it was so broad... And the many stripes on the thorax didn't remind me of Fanniidae. The next idea was something like Musca autumnalis female, but the wing venation did not show a bend.
