Inside a house in urban areas.
In Motril, Granada, Spain.

It does look like Culex, but I wouldn't like to say which species.

Looking, looking, at the Forum on Biodiversity Spain, I found this sheet identified.

It certainly looks very similar, and might be pipiens, but there are other species which are very alike and can only be reliably separated by examining specimens.

Understood, Tony. Should be left in Culem.
I still have the mosquito. But I do not know what kind of review would be done ...
