Is this a Willistoniella sp.?

Several were present, some feeding on fruit

Another view. I didn't record the size; maybe the little Drosophilid in the other photo will give an idea of scale.

I think so ... they're certainly both Ropalomeridae and they look like the ones that I have keyed to Willistoniella in the past - the face profile certainly fits the figures in Prado (1963) :)

There are some keys available on the web if you Google about but genitalia are required for a species-level ID. Let me know if you'd like me to email them over :)
