Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Muscidae: Helina sp.? (14.11.10) --> Phaonia scutellata/tuguriorum

Hello!

This 8 mm male came to the light in our garden (northwest Germany) last night. I would say, Helina. But which?

It is a male Phaonia scutellata/tuguriorum.

Thanks! Shame on me... Must be more than the 10th question on P. tuguriorum from me... :S (but the spots on the abdomen seemed unusual and Helina-like to me).
