Two individuals. From meadow near forest, northwest Germany. About 4-5 mm. Closer ID possible?

No, I think really impossible.

No, I think really impossible. As far as I know even Tachinid lovers tend to get headaches of Siphona.

Yeah, looking like this *might* be
S.geniculata but it is really hard to say much from a photo ... even with specimens sometimes only maybe 20% will key satisfactorily.
