Hi,
This very tiny fly I found feeding on Mushrooms in the garden of a friend in a rainforest area close by the sea Paraty-Brazil 4th February 2010.
Is there a possibility for a Genus?
Thank you,
Myriam:)

Jorge, when I saw this beautiful little fly I also had to think about something as Peplomyza, but thought "how many weird looking flies you have in the neotropics?" I did have the guts to shout "Lauxaniidae", and get a reaction from a Paul or Andrzej or other real specialist "you stupid boy...it is a ......!" ;-)

This is a species of Setulina (yes Lauxaniidae). Probably Setulina geminata.
