Lauxaniidae. "Calliopum"-ish

Hmmmm, decided to look at the photo's again...it is for sure a Lauxaniidae, but I am not convinced any more about Calliopum. I am well able to imagine that there are other "weird" lauxanids in Italy. Pity I can't see the birstles on the thorax well

I think it is Calliopum sp.

Thank you, Katka, thank you! I began to hesitate...I wondered what kind of weird looking, Lauxaniids you have in Southern Europe. Is it elisae? I think (!) I see 4 ac's and the third segment of the antenna looks pretty long

Ruud,
may be you are right, but I dont know. Ac rows sometimes bad visible at this genus, and only from a photo....:|

Thanks to all, referring to the Checklist of the Italian fauna updated on 2003, the following are the only Calliopum found in my country :

Calliopum Strand, 1928

Calliopum aeneum (Fallén, 1820) (N, S)
Calliopum elisae (Meigen, 1826) (N)
Calliopum nigripes (Macquart, 1835) (Si)

So, may be, could be easier to ID the right one!;)

Well, considering that it might be nigripes, but I am certain there should be more species on the Italian list than those three.
