Hello,

I had one similar to this last year which was Tricimba. Again probably less than 2mm, and only one photo!

I'm wondering if this could be the same species, found in the same place on Ivy, my garden near Lincoln UK. 7th October.

I guess this will still remain as Tricimba sp.? As there is only the one specie here in sub-genus Tricimba, Tricimba lineella, could it be that? Unless it belongs to one of the other sub-genus?

Janet :)

I think itis too glossy to be Tricimba and I cannot make out the three grooves clearly.

No there doesn't look to be any grooves!

I have lightened it a little, this is as close a crop as I can get.

No grooves -> no Tricimba.

Thanks Paul, I missed that point!

Does anyone have any idea which genus it could belong to?
