No problem - you can see the folded proboscis protruding forwards under the head. Also, in the UK there are only a few species that have bristles on T1+2 and only one that looks that muddy-brown, I think ... but they are a very difficult genus :)

At some point I should update the British key because there are a few inaccuracies but I am really unsure where to go with it because the alternative (Andersen) is highly complex ... I will probably add lots of secondary features ;)
