Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Which hoverfly?

Found this hoverfly yesterday in reeds at the Baltic Sea coast, N Germany.
It does not seem completely right for Helophilus pendulus, what do you think?

Great that you were able to ID it from behind - after your ID I compared with some other (bad) front photos, you're right!
