Dear members,

Seems to be a very common fly, at least I see it often fly in the garden in Lower Austria, near Vienna.

Chloromyia formosa female. You may also expect the less common C. speciosa in Austria. The first segment of the second and third tars is clearly yellowish, while formosa's tarsi are really brown. In the field it is also obvious that speciosa has much more blackish coloured wings, formosa has brownish wings.
