19/09/2010, my garden (on birch), Kapellen, Belgium. Dolichopodidae I think, but is further ID possible? Thanks in advance!

It is a Medetera sp.

I was afraid you are going to ask which species, Jeroen! It is impossible to say. Medetera is quite a large genus and determination is far from simple.
