11/09/2010, my garden, Kapellen, Belgium. Muscidae/Anthomyiidae I think, but is further ID possible? I kept the specimen, so additional pictures could be made up if necessary. Thanks in advance!

Thanks again, Joke! Can I do anything to make the cf. disappear?

If all tibia are yellowish = H.vagans (Key Ackland)
If only hindtibia is yellowish = H.urbica(Key Ackland)
In Hennig
H.vagans = tibia yellowish
H.urbica = all legs dark
I follow Ackland in this case....
Still confusing because some species have the fore and midtibia more or less yellowish, but not convincing enough (for me) to say it is H.vagans, but when i look at the genitals, it seems to be H.vagans ..:D
So mostly from photos i say H.vagans / urbica
