Hi guys,
This little (about 10mm) fly was buzzing around my worm farm and landed just long enough for a shot. Any ideas anyone?

Syrphidae. Maybe an Eumerus ? Wait for the syrphidists. :)

Jorge is correct it is the (introduced) Eumerus obliquus (female)...
