Hi it seems T. grossa to me, but i have no keys (and no description) for T. magna (link to this (cut but not reduced) and other views http://www.biodiv...27844.html)

Picture taken by Esperança Alomar
- In Salamanca (Central Spain), 840m
- Oak wood (in a Lepidoptera larva, but grown :)

Thanks again

I think it is T.grossa ... this is T.magna (courtesy Zoological Museum of the University of Moscow):

Just checked ... for grossa vs magna the difference basically comes down to: black calyptrae = grossa OR white/yellow calyptrae = magna ... I think the fly in your photos has black :)

Hi, i saw pics of T. magna and i saw it more reddish but i didn´t want to confirm species ignoring how keys really differ them, intraespecific variability has confused me before and i don´t trust my "bare eye's opinion" but keys/descriptions
Thanks again
