Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Chaetorellia loricata? -> yes

Hello,

this fly was posted to a german forum. The larva was found in a Centaurea from Badem-Württemberg (Kaiserstuhl, southern germany).

I think I see the five pairs of black spots on the thorax, so it should be Chaetorellia loricata. Or is it just again a Chaetorellia jaceae?

Thanks,
Michael

Nice pictures. I would say you are right, but I'm not an expert:).

Thank you for your answer. I just waited a day for an expert :-) - but now... 2:0 is already rather good.
