Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Tachinid?

Hello all - I think this is a tachinid of some sort? Does anyone agree, and if so, do you know which species? :)

Last one - and a little more information: caught yesterday on umbellifer in Wolverhampton, England. Overall length approx. 6mm. :)

Sarcophagidae -
Sarcophaga (
Heteronychia) sp. I would guess :)
There's no subscutellum, it has plumose arista (only in dexiine tachinids) and it has the classic striped thorax and checkered abdomen of the
Sarcophaga group ;)
