I think this is Tipulidae, but am not sure?
Near Townsville, Australia. At light.

A male Tipulid, yes. Maybe a Ctenophora atrata

This one is in the Genus Gynoplistia of Limoniidae. The scale shows this is a crane fly of about 8-9 mm in length.
