Syrphidae - Paragus sp.
Difficult genus.

I assume Tarragona is in Spain
Paragus is a lovely group of hoverflies, I wish I caught many more or them.
And yes they do seem to be a difficult genus, especially the ones from southern Europe. But I wonder if that is mostly because no one have yet done a key to all the European species?
If this was done then I am sure they could be labelled tricky rather than difficult

Paragus cf pecchiolii (98% sure).
PS: post Syrphidae in its own forum please.

Sorry, but i didn't know at first it was Syrphidae (the title it has been corrected and edited). Can I now translate the threat to the syrphidae forum?

Doesn't help, but my ID is very safe. For the last 2% I would need the specimen (genitalia). These two pics are very nice though. Could you offer them to the Syrphidae gallery please?
You can leave the thread here if you like, now it has been answered :)
