21/08/2010, my garden (beer trap), Kapellen, Belgium. Muscidae or Anthomyiidae I think, but can anyone confirm/correct this and get to genus/species? Thanks in advance!

No, I think it was bare (or maybe short haired).

Crossveins seems infuscated (special small crossveins)
Strong av on midfemur + strong posterior seta on foretibia...and 1 ad on midtibia.
Looks like Anthomyia confusanea
But i find it not convincing enough to be 100% sure
Shame you could't be sure about length of hairs on arista

I know it's a shame. This one was still alive when I opened the trap and it got away after I took this pictures. I think I have a few more pictures, but the quality is very bad. I will upload them anyway tomorrow (or the day after).

I'm almost sure the arista was bare, but of course almost is not enough. Anyway, many thanks for your great help!
