Very nice. A female of the Tabanus glaucopis - group.
In Czech, you have only glaucopis itself, I guess.
So that is what is should be.
The black on the subcallus seems a little bit restricted, though. Did you collect it ?

We have only T. glaucopis from glacopis-group in the Czech Republic. The other member of this group, T. exclusus, was extremely rarely collected in southern Slovakia.
Theo: many of CZE and SVK glaucopis I have seen have similarly restricted black on the subcallus.

This pattern reminds of Tabanus castellanus, that is why I hesitated. But castellanus is not to be expected in Czech republic. So I guess glaucopis it is.

Is
T. exclusus definitely excluded (!)- glaucopis group, subcallus only half polished? Chvala (1972) uses this feature to key out the group.

SD, yes I know, however, excluses is indeed excluded, since this species has only a tiny bit (10-20%) shining black on the subcallus.
