This fly was round 11-13 mm. Is it possible to tell genus and perhaps species?

Distinctly possible ... though the
B.triangulifera that I have keyed in the past seem to be thinner in the abdomen.
Are there any more angles? :)

I didn't respond because I don't know.
I understand the suggestion of Bllaea, but I have strong doubts on triangulifera.
But then again, there are many more Billaea species....

In practise less options in the North... The triangles are not as contrasted as usually, but I would guess the same as Stephane.
