Is this a tachinid? Is is possible to id this fly? It was rather large. I found it ten days ago near Soest, the Netherlands.

Looks like Dinera ferina to me but better wait for Theo to confirm :)

Thank you, Chris. It does look like the Dinera ferina in the gallery, but I have learned to be cautious and I'll wait for Theo.
