Thread subject: Diptera.info :: little tachinidae

hi flyforum,

I thought this little and short tachinidae was Phorocera obscura but the eyes doesn't fit in this profile.
(no hair on the eyes)
I am looking for other options..

Interesting fly - strong down-curved facial ridge bristles too and hairy r4+5 ... not sure what it is though :D What size was it?

Difficult to estimate the size, I guess 7-8mm.
It's a new species for me.
