Found on 12-07-2010 at Boschoord Netherlands near compost.

Postscutellum seems not swollen
Meron haired
Looks like Pollenia..?
Can't place the fly...

Let's not rush to conclusions, it might be Agria spec.

So...

Are the coxa 3 on their backside bare or are there a few setulae present.
looks from side like in the first picture.
Use a Sarcophaga for reference (setualae present)

Coxa 3 seems to have 2 strong setualea in front on the backside....

You have to look for small setulae (hair-like) on top and inner margin of hind coxa. My guess is Ravinia pernix : the row of frontal bristles are straight, I think I can see strong prst acr, reddish terminalia (+ T6 with strong marginals)...
