That's about as far as I can get. From my garden, 8mm long. Is it possible to ID ?

Looks like it's a
Triarthria setipennis, but 8mm sounds quite big to me. Maybe you feed them particularly big earwigs up there :D

That's quick ! I've checked the size and I think I might have misled you. 8mm from head to wing tip, 6mm body length.

That sounds more like it :)
Triarthria is it then ... an earwig parasitoid ... fairly common in the right habitat :)
They are very distinctive because they have that elongated second artista segment, hairy r1 and r4+5 veins and bristles all down the parafacial :)
