Hi,

stranger again. I was thinking Sarcophagidae at first but it won't fit any of my species so maybe it's Tachinidae anyway :) July 12. 2010 Loviisa, Finland.

Well, that name is much too complicated to remember

I propose Solieria spec.

If it is a male, it is S. pacifica. Check genitalia !

I'd agree with Solieria, though I doubt Theo was waiting for my help :D

Thank You both. I have no possibility to check genitalia now, so Solieria cf pacifica it will be.

Jari, you don't need to check the male genitalia, the question is simply:

Are male genitalia present ?

If yes, this is pacifica. I have little doubt it is.

So this belongs to the "mission impossible" file or maybe possible to id from the specimen ?
