this small fly was in my garden malaise this morning. July 10.2010 Loviisa, Finland

Schoenomyza litorella before.

This was hard to believe - it seems such a common (coastal) species and I guess sea isn't so far away there. If you managed to find nearly 1000 species before this, then it was for you a bit like
C. urticae STILL IS for me:)
Check some day once more your smaller muscids, if you find specimens with bright yellow frons, they are
litorella males.

I'm just a beginner with some tens of species, but I already sawy C. urticae:P:)
