From woodland ride. 9mm long.
Shiny black scutum, eyes bare, aristae barely plumose, fore femur toothed & notched at apex, halteres black, 3 prescut ac.
I'd be grateful for an expert opinion.

I would rather say
Hydrotaea dentipes : M slightly curved apically and mid tibia with long hairs ventrally.

I don't know why I went wrong with the shape of M vein. It's obvious now :)
