Hello!
This species forages for prey on reed in Hungary. The length of the fly is about 5-7 mm. Dense vegetation along a small canal, corn and sunflower field nearby with scattered acacias. Much appreciate for any indication about the species.

Clearly a Therevidae, but I am not sure about the genus, but it is very characteristic, so therefore will will soon figure it out....

Oh, and they do not hunt... it is a male just looking for a female...
