Hello!

Unfortunately I have only this bad picture, because the fly was constantly running around on leaves at a forest path (northwest Germany). About 7 mm. Rhagio lineola?

Even in such a bad picture, it clearly is not lineola but a female scolopaceus or strigosus

Have a look at the gallery. Lineola is very different.

Hello, Theo!

Thanks! I must admit I was too lazy at that night time (3.44) for longer researches, and just wanted to post it quickly, before going to bed. :D I had R. lineola in mind as a small, slender Rhagio species with similar behaviour, so I thought it must be it.
I would rule out scolopaceus - double the size and has long passed away here... But R. strigosus could be fine. They are often in our garden around this time.
