Hi,

small nice Hybotidae with long antenna and black hind tibiae. Platypalpus something ? June 27. 2010 Loviisa, Finland

Thank You Paul. Now I must ask You a simple question: Are You sure ? I ask because it would be a new species to our fauna again.

As far as I know it is the only Oedalea with all yellow legs (so including the coxae and tarsi) with the exception of the largely black hind tibiae. If you want ultimate confirmation I'd need to see the specimen.

Following the key by Chvála (1983) this really seemed to lead to the species Paul mentioned without big problems. Milan mentions this rarity has previously been recorded in southern Sweden and in Viborg, which is quite near Loviisa I guess...
