Tachinidae Cylindromyia sp

Yes, Cylindromyia but I couldn't go further from this photo :) If ozgur70 can collect some specimens then I'd be happy to identify them properly :)

Same here

It is in the brassicaria subgroup.....

Last year I got C. xylotina from Serbia, after some 2000 non-xylotina's. So you never know.

2000 Cylindromyia? :O That's a lot of work - but it shows quite nicely the importance of collecting plenty in ever week and every location, just to pick up all species :)

Ahh, well that's not too bad - I thought someone had sent you 2 years of Malaise trap collecting ;) Was there anything else out of the ordinary? I have been sent quite a few Cylindromyia and I was surprised how the 'usual suspects' always turn up but some species are really very rare.
