From woodland ride, 10mm long. Presutural ac absent and 4 postsutural dc so am I right in thinking this is Thricops diaphanus ?

You're right. If you have a lens (or with a good photo), you would be able to see the setulae on inner posterior margin of hind coxae present in the genus.

I'm pleased because there are very few records of it on the NBN Gateway map for the UK, and none at all in the northern half of England where I live, so it's either very uncommon or very much under recorded, which seems unlikely as it's so obvious.
