Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Tachinidae (?) from May-26, 2010

Hello!

I found this small (5 mm) fly at a hedge (northwest Germany) at the end of May. I think of Tachinidae, but it also reminds me a bit of Sarcophagidae with its reddish eyes.

It is a Tachinid and it might be female Lypha dubia

If I see it now, Nemorilla comes in mind.

So forget about it.
