Hi, this small (Siphona size) Tachinidae has bright yellow antenna and palps. Familiar to You Chris ? June 10.2010 Loviisa Finland.

Wow ... not familiar at all but it looks really interesting :) Can you post a few more angles? I'm intrigued by the shape of the abdomen.

Well here is a picture from behind. It seems to have her ovipositor bend under the abdomen. Strange fly indeed. I have an other small too and try to take pictures during the next break in football games :D

Even more mysterious ... I'd love to key it - the abdomen must be very distinctive :) ... as are the petiole, yellow palps, short yellow antennae and head shape :)
