Is this a male Melanomya nana ?
I have a lot of them in my garden in Brussels...

Yes, this is a male of Nyctia halterata. Note the very angulate bend of vein M and the broad lower calypteres, which is very different from Melanomya nana. Nyctia halterata breeds in snails, so look for infected snails in your garden and look out for any behaviour - we do not know if the snails are infected while alive or only when dead.
