June 08, 2010, Naro-Fominsk, Moscow region, Russia. On a dead fallen aspen (
Populus tremula) near water. Size 4.5 mm. I still have some doubts because I can't see katepisternal bristles at all (Broken off? Weak? According to Kameneva and Korneyev, should be weaker than notopleural bristles which I can see). Setulose R1 clearly visible, etc.
Subject changed (question mark removed, June 09, 2010).

Yes. It is
P. demonstrans Hennig. Congratulations! I wish you could collect a male once upon a time, as they are extremely rare in collections. I had a pretty nice dumping place with a lot of poplar billets next to my house, and had a very exciting hunt suching them with an aspirator only.
This is really something. However, it the area of Moscow it use to be common, and often collected by V. Kovalev and A. Shatalkin in 1970-80-s. Elena and I did not collect it since 2007 in Kiev, but we believe we must look for another good spot.

Thanks a lot for the confirmation Valery - think I should return to that aspen (more than once).
