I only have
P.minuta listed for Shetland. This looks similar to
P.albimana, having a white metatarsus on hind legs, but the femur is much darker. Any one know their Ptychoptera?

Roger:
Wing markings distinct but faint (in comparision to other species); Rs medium sized without right angled bend; Rs branch behind r-m; metatarsi of hind legs whitish; abdomen not entirely dark; first basal cell with plentiful macrotrichia in front half?!
--->
This should be a female of
Ptychoptera albimana
so long,

Thanks xylo
I was hoping you would confirm this as
P.minuta...but
P.albimana I am not going to argue with...:)..just means I still have to find
minuta :|, and that I have another unrecorded species for Shetland :)
