Thread subject: Diptera.info :: anthomyiidae ?

I think this female with damaged legs in an anthomyid ( long vein 6, crossed bristles on frons ). From woodland path, WL 9mm. Has hairy eyes & plumed aristae. I'd be grateful for an ID.

Looks like Muscidae;
Polietes lardarius in the Gallery

I'm very new to flies - hopefully I'll soon be able to tell the difference between muscidae & anthomydiidae :)
