Can anyone identify this tiny fly? To give an idea of how small it was the flowers are ragwort (Senecio).

I'd guess that it is a small
Siphona sp. (it seems to have a long, hinged proboscis in the last photo) :)

I thought it might be too small for a tachinid but it did have that bristly abdomen they all seem to have!

Sizes of just UK tachinids run from about 2mm to over 2cm ;)
